Fractional Executive Assistant
Executive-level support without a full-time hire. I take on the recurring and one-off work an owner never gets to, and bill only for the hours I actually work.
What a fractional executive assistant actually is
A full-time executive assistant means a salary, benefits, a desk, and enough steady work to justify all three. Most small businesses don't have that much of any one task; they have a little of a lot of things. A fractional executive assistant is the same skill set and the same accountability, sized to the hours you actually need — this week, this month, or this quarter.
That's different from a typical virtual assistant, too. A lot of "virtual assistants" are entry-level generalists picking up whatever gig work they can find, priced accordingly. I've run a business myself, trained corporate teams, and built the systems I now offer to build for you. I can do the VA-style tasks — inbox, calendar, data entry — but the point is bigger: taking entire problems off your plate and building the systems so they stay off, permanently, not just this week.
How the model works
Hourly, with no retainer and no minimum term. You call when you need help; I work; I bill for the hours I used. There's no monthly fee ticking whether or not you have work for me, and no long contract locking you in. See the full engagement model →
What I take on
From the spreadsheets to the inbox to the CRM: small, recurring tasks and big, tangled problems alike.
Marketing Automation
The email sequences and workflows you've been meaning to build.
AI Integration
Practical AI built into how you actually work, not a buzzword bolted on.
CRM Cleanup & Management
Duplicate, stale, and half-entered records turned into a list you can trust.
Reports, Spreadsheets & Dashboards
Excel and Access expertise that turns messy data into something you can use.
Project & Vendor Management
I chase the printers, the developers, and the deadlines so you don't have to.
Calendar, Scheduling & Inbox
Triage, drafts, replies, and follow-ups, plus a calendar that runs itself.
Accountability Partner
Regular check-ins so what you said you'd do actually gets done.
Onboarding
Smooth starts for new clients and new team members.
Two more things I take off your plate live under Websites and Graphic Design: website maintenance & updates and marketing collateral & trade show materials.
The credential behind the reports
I'm a Microsoft Office Specialist with Expert-level certifications in Excel and Access — not a self-taught guess at pivot tables. When a task involves spreadsheets, dashboards, or an Access database that's grown past what anyone remembers building, that's the credential doing the work. More about my background →
Who this is for
- You own a small business and have more on your plate than hours in the day
- You're ready to invest in getting your time back
- You value a steady, thoughtful working relationship over a rotating cast of freelancers
To give every client my full attention, I take on a limited number of clients. There are only so many hours in the day, and only one of me.
